The rare first edition, first issue with first state binding of Ian Fleming's classic Thunderball, the first novel in the so called 'Blofeld trilogy' - three Bond novels to feature Ernst Stavro Blofeld as the main antagonist.
Thunderball is considered one of the greates Bond novels, alongside being one of the greatest of the Bond films with Sean Connery playing the iconic spy.
First edition, first issue (price listed as 15s. net.) with first state binding (itles in gilt rather than silver). A near fine example with minor foxing and minor wear to the jacket.
