Harry Potter’s original light-up wand, production-used by Daniel Radcliffe in Goblet of Fire, from the collection of a senior crew member, with full provenance.
An original production-used wand used by Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, created for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005).
This is the rarer light-up version of Harry’s wand, designed with an internal illumination feature for use in close-up scenes requiring the Lumos spell effect. Crafted in resin and metal with the integral lighting mechanism still intact, this version was used on set by Radcliffe during filming.
The wand comes directly from the Assistant Director who worked on Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire onwards and is accompanied by full documentation of provenance. Screen-used wands from the franchise — and particularly those used by principal cast members — are exceptionally scarce in private hands.
The light-up wands were produced in only limited numbers for on-screen use, making them significantly rarer than the standard resin “hero” props. Authentic examples directly connected to Radcliffe seldom surface, and this is among the finest to remain in private ownership.
An iconic artefact from the most successful film franchise of its generation — the wand of “the boy who lived,” and a defining symbol of modern cinematic fantasy.
Provenance:
From the collection of a Harry Potter Assistant Director (Goblet of Fire onwards), accompanied by full documentation of provenance.
