'It was important to find venues with an aspect of danger, enhancing the Clash point of view. This is an early example of Clash cut and paste agit-prop Clash street-style artwork from March 1977, promoting a fantastic array of creative talent at a rousing all-night happening.' (Bernard Rhodes).

Rare original flyer for the 77' Two Nights of Action gigs, from the personal collection of Clash co-creator Bernard Rhodes. Rhodes was a singularly important force behind the creation of The Clash. Punk memorabilia is having quite the moment with collectors and this is up there with the best one could hope for.

Rhodes is a designer, studio owner, record producer, songwriter, but more importantly, he was the co-creator of The Clash. He was an important force behind the band, not only managing their business but also guiding their marketing and creative direction. Without Rhodes, there is no Clash.
